MakeMake & Elastic Projects Win At 44th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards
The winners of the 44th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards have been announced, and we’re excited to share that two projects that MakeMake and Elastic were involved in — Netflix’s A Trip To Infinity and HBO Max’s How To Survive A Pandemic — have all received awards for their outstanding work.
Eminent mathematicians, particle physicists and cosmologists dive into infinity and its mind-bending implications for the universe in A Trip To Infinity, which won in the category of Outstanding Graphic Design and Art Direction: Documentary. MakeMake and Room 608 were both producers of the film, which was directed by Jonathan Halperin & Drew Takahashi.
Elastic creatives worked on How to Survive A Pandemic, which won in the category of Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary. The film, directed by David France, takes an inside look at the race to research, develop, regulate, and roll out COVID-19 vaccines.
Congratulations to each of the talented teams behind these impactful projects on their well-deserved wins!
