Daniel de Vue

Danish colorist Daniel de Vue joined Primary in the fall of 2018. His work exists at the intersection of artistry and technicality.

Daniel began his career as a colorist at BaconX Copenhagen. Working with directors such as Martin Werner and Martin de Thurah, he was exposed to high-end production from the start. After quickly establishing himself as a reputable talent in his field, de Vue relocated to London to head the color department at Glassworks London. There he built upon his portfolio crafting the mood for brands such as Toyota, Adidas, H&M, and Xbox among others.

Daniel’s career continues to rise in the commercial and film worlds. In 2020 he took home Best Color Grading: Music Video and a UKMVA nomination for his work on Eden “Projector.” He garnered AICP shortlist nominations for HP’s “Back to School” and Mercedes Benz’s “Eternal Love.”

In his spare time Daniel enjoys surfing and riding motorcycles. He is based out of Los Angeles and available worldwide for remote grading.
